Meet The Author
Crystal Nesmith-Murillo is a dystopian fiction author, writing clean, yet gritty stories with a side of closed-door romance.
She first encountered dystopian fiction while taking a philosophy class in college, and she’s been hooked ever since. That course, along with her degree in biology, often leads Crystal to contemplate “what if” scenarios about science’s influence on society. One such “what if” inspired her to write her first novel, Tagged.
Currently residing in Maryland, where she was born and raised, Crystal also homeschools her son and teaches a science class at the local community college. She is an applesauce fanatic, adores all things purple, and is terrified of frogs.
